Alternatives to AskRx

AskRx was the first one where I read the pricing footnote and did not feel like I was being handled. It says it straight: $90 a month is the physician visit, $10 a month is fulfilment, that is $100 total for care, and your medication is billed separately — through their own pharmacy, at cost, no markup. I have looked at a lot of these pages now and almost none of them tell you which part of the number is the doctor and which part is the drug. It is also FDA-approved only. 'No compounded meds' is right there on the page, and what you can get is the Wegovy pen, the Wegovy pill, Zepbound as a KwikPen, and Foundayo (orforglipron), an oral GLP-1 medicine. All 50 states, board-certified doctors, unlimited messaging, cancel anytime. What I would want to know before signing up: nobody publishes what the medication itself costs, so $100 is where it starts and not where it ends. And 'video visits available in select states' means the no-appointment promise is not everywhere — worth checking for your state specifically if fitting a call into your week is the thing that would sink it.

AskRx at a glance

  • AskRx offers semaglutide and tirzepatide, including brand-name options.
  • We couldn't find a recurring medication price to quote for AskRx, so ask for the full charge and supply length before you pay.
  • AskRx lets you start without a live video visit.
  • Where it serves: All 50 states.

Why you might look past AskRx

  • The $100 is a care fee, not a medication price — no medication cost is published anywhere, so your real monthly total is unknown until checkout
  • Brand-name only, so there is no route to the $79-$149 range the compounded providers on this page occupy
  • 'Video visits available in select states' — the no-appointment route is not universal, so check your own state

Who AskRx suits
