The short, plain version

I'm a mom running a website, not a data company — so this is deliberately boring and short. Here's everything that actually happens with your info on MomsOnGLP1.

One tool watches which pages help — and you can switch it off

The only thing running here is Google Analytics 4, and it starts when you land, so I can see which of these guides are worth keeping. It sees anonymized stuff — which pages you looked at, a rough region from your IP (which Google doesn't store for Analytics), your device and browser, and where you clicked in from. It never sees your name, your email, or anything you type.

No ad network runs on this site, and I keep Google's advertising signals switched off entirely — so nothing here feeds ad targeting or profile-building, whatever you choose below.

Checking your current setting…

What I never do

  • Sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Ever.
  • Run ad networks, ad cookies, or Google's advertising features — those stay off by default and there's no toggle that turns them on.
  • Ask you to make an account or hand over anything to read the site.
  • Track anything about your health beyond which page you opened — I don't ask, so I don't have it.
  • Keep measuring after you opt out — the cookie is deleted and nothing is stored, though Google still gets one anonymous cookieless ping per page, which is explained in full above.

Your privacy rights, and how to use them

If you live somewhere with a state privacy law — California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and a growing list of others — you have the right to opt out of this kind of tracking, and the button above is that mechanism. It takes effect immediately in the browser you're using. I don't sell or share personal information, so there isn't a separate “do not sell” process to go through.

Your choice is stored only in your own browser, under the cookie-consent key — nothing to email, no account to close. Clearing this site's data resets it to the default. Your browser's own “do not track” and cookie-blocking settings work here too, and I'd rather you use them than not visit.

This site is written for readers in the United States. If you're visiting from the EU or UK and would rather I hadn't measured the visit at all, switch it off above and I'll drop what that browser sends.

The affiliate bit

Some outbound links earn us a commission if you sign up — same price to you, and it never nudges a Mom-Tested Score. Following one hands you off to that company, and what they do with your info is covered by their privacy policy, not this one. The full plain-English breakdown is in how we're funded.
